Spring has finally sprung! What a beautiful day it turned out to be. The kids and I had fun exploring flowers while Jade enjoyed his first mow of the season and raking up dead grass and moss. We hope to do a lot more landscaping this year both in the front and back. Mostly due to the harsh winter we had and our desire to start a vegetable garden. I love this time of year!
Yesterday Emily decided she wanted to build a fort for her and Brayden's "club." It was cute to see them playing together even though all Bradyen wanted to do is tear the blanket down. Needless to say, it didn't last very long but they had fun playing in their jammies. Brayden loves all of Emily's toys and is as curious as ever!
Sorry for the lack of blogging lately! We've been busy living life to it's fullest with work, school, and play!!
Emily started Spring soccer this past week with 1 good practice and a fun game! She's having so much fun and even scored 2 goals her first game. She is proving to be such a role model for her peers this season and we are very proud of her!
Brayden is now 11 months and is in to EVERYTHING! He is walking up a storm and gets very upset when he's confined to an area. Below are some recent pictures of him finding a DVD case. He had fun with it. I also gave him his first haircut as Jade was threatening to bust out the clippers. We can't wait for his 1st birthday and special visits from both sets of grandparents in April/May!
Jade and I have been married for over 12 years and have two beautiful read headed children. We are living in the Pacific Northwest and enjoy all that it has to offer and embracing each day to the fullest!
